I have a client whose previous SEO insisted that they have a merchant center feed setup, even though they don't run ads. I've never read anything that suggested telling Merchant Center about your products was useful from an organic SEO perspective, and only ads value if you plan to link it to Ads and run PLA ads from your feed. Is there evidence that a Merchant Center feed is useful WITHOUT running paid ads?
