So I read a post about another site copying content from his, and saw a few replies mentioning make sure 'cononical tags' are enabled or something along those lines and the main site will be ok.
The main site, being the original source of content.
Now, I wanted to know wouldn't this be enabled by default and/or Google actually know which site published the content first/original source?
Seems a bit worrying that I could write a good piece of content, and potentially another website can copy my content and Google question it? Any information on this?
