I'm a writer and my first book's being published in September. I have a decent looking website that loads fast and spend lots of time on social media, but my site's not getting traffic. I've been trying to do SEO and make improvements, but this is very time-sensitive & I'm not making progress on my own.
If my on-line presence sucks, my book won't sell and my dream dies so I need professional help but I don't even know what I need exactly or what to ask for.
It's an author blog where I review other books in my genre. I need to increase traffic, get backlinks and hopefully show up in searches for books and authors in my genre. I don't have a lot to spend but I'm not expecting miracles, just improvement that will hopefully increase over time. What exactly do I need here and how do I communicate that to people in order to hire the right person?
Anything you guys can tell me is greatly appreciated.
