I’m on the marketing team at a large law firm that has 5 location pages on its site. Each location used to rank well for our target keywords, but now it seems that we’re being out ranked by firms with one location, whose sites all essentially focus around variations of “[city] personal injury lawyer”.
We are building out more topically-relevant pages under each of our locations’ practice area pages to build up topical clusters, but I’m wondering—are we fighting an uphill battle because our site is so large and covers so many areas? Is there any way, short of building micro sites for each location, to combat this?
Thanks in advance!
