I am performing ASO (App Store Optimisation) for a macOS app and have some questions regarding the best keyword strategy. Given the maximum amount of characters (100) I need them to be as effective as possible.
- If I want to be found when users search "time tracking", is it best to have "time tracking" as a separate keyword or should I comma separate both words, hence "time, tracking". I suppose the latter as I would expect to be visible when users search for "time", "tracking", "time tracking" and "tracking time".
- How "smart" is the App Store when it comes to combining words, especially with languages that tend to combine words significantly more than English. E.g. "time tracking" in Dutch is "tijdregistratie", hence just one word. I would like to be found when people are searching for "tijd", "registratie" and "tijdregistratie". Do I need to enter all 3 keywords, or is the App Store smart enough to combine keywords (e.g. "tijd" and "registratie") in order to also be found when users search on "tijdregistratie"?
Thanks!
