Mandatory disclaimer - I am a complete noob who has only started reading up on SEO the past couple of weeks. So forgive me if im making some very basic mistake
I am helping out with a friend's website. The website is made using Wix(not sure if that matters) but i read a lot of articles that said Wix is very bad for SEO and a few more said that its no longer true. Its a website for his photography studio to show off his work mostly. So there is little to no text on the website beyond headers, a bio and a contact form. The website has been indexed by google. I have given it a simple title of the studio name and a description. The website url is also just the studio name. Nothing complicated so far. But when i google the studio name i havent been able to find the website so far. I dont mean just the first page of google. I mean ive gone through over a dozen pages and still nothing. I tried a SERP tool checker and it gave up after searching the first 100 entries. I went further till i gave up too. Is it possible that the SEO is done so badly that ill find it way back in the google search results when i search directly with the name? Or have i missed something?
