Hi,
Hoping the good people of r/SEO can help me out. I own a small e-commerce business. We focus on smokable CBD products. I'm not sure what the next best steps are for us to help grow sales. Our conversion rate is pretty good right now, but we just have so few site visits that our sales trickle in.
We spent a lot of time writing and posting blogs when we started, but it's hard to maintain with everything else we need to be doing. We've implemented snippets and tried to ensure the site SEO was dialed in. I know we're lacking on backlinks and we're always trying to reach out on HARO and other places to get into articles, but it's pretty thin out there. We can't use any paid ads because of the space. We get reviews once in a while, but that usually ends up on social or youtube, which doesn't convert to our .com very well.
Question is, should we focus our energy on creating more content/blog posts for our own site and try to help that increase our ranking? OR should we focus our time/energy/money elsewhere? We only rank well when people search our brand name - otherwise we rank in the 80s for our main keywords.
If anyone is interested, we'd also be super open to individuals or agencies to help plan out a strategy for us to follow. We're bootstrapped, otherwise we'd bring someone on to manage full-time.
Any help is appreciated.
