A client asked me about an SEO tactic she learned from another marketer that sounds bizarre to me so I want to see if anyone else has heard of this. The marketer advised her to put an outbound link to the Google SERP for the topic she is writing about in her blog posts. For example, if she writes about "children's books welcoming a new baby," she would literally link to the Google SERP that comes up when you Google "children's books welcoming a new baby." This is supposed to help with SEO. Anyone ever hear of this?
