Going to do my best to explain the problem I am trying to solve. Based on the details below, what would you do with these pages?
I am auditing a real estate website built using WordPress.
The theme is creating pages based on features of the property, similar to blog categories. Example:
/property-feature/infinity-pool/ /property-feature/private-chef/
These pages are dynamically populated with properties that have these features and a page title (ie Infinity Pool)
On the individual property page, each feature is listed and links to the property feature page (/property-feature/infinity-pool/). Some properties have 15 internal links to the respective property feature.
After reviewing GSC, these 20+ feature pages are indexed, getting 6000 impressions, avg position 30, and less than 10 clicks over 6 months.
Would you invest time and effort to try and rank these pages?
I see the value of someone searching for a property in a specific location with a specific feature. Not all of them but some.
Optimizing the feature page would require wordpress development to customize the template so I can add content.
Another option is to create new pages that are focused around the property feature. Not all the features but the ones with the biggest potential.
Going the route of creating new pages, would you noindex the feature pages? Or leave as is.
I hope I explained this clearly. Thank you for any knowledge you can share.
