Keyword Golden Ratio

Anyone used Keyword Golden Ratio outside affiliate marketing? What has the experience been like?

Keyword Golden Ratio broadly entails dividing the number of allintitle results for a keyword divided by the overall number of the search results.

Let me give an example hopefully to make things clearer. Let's say you wonna write an article on "The Efficacy of Covid-19 Vaccines"

You want to look up the existing articles that have this EXACT keyword phrase in their title divided by the total number of searches for the keyword phrase.

If the result is 0.25, that's some keyword phrase you can easily rank for even without much Domain Authority (DA) and backlinks. If the result is between 0.25 and 1, you might rank for the keyword overtime but some competition already exists. Now if the keyword is above 1, the chances of ranking are pretty grim.

Essentially, a result of 0.25 means you would immediately rank within the first five or six pages of SERPs upon publishing your article.

Theoretically, the whole thing makes sense. Though it only targets one on-page element - the title tag, it seems pretty solid. According to Brian Dean of Backlinko, the title tag is the most important on-page element. It is also important to point out that it was formulated in an affiliate marketing environment.

That said, has anybody used it outside affiliate marketing? How have the results been like?
