[SEO] Server location, does it effect what country you show up in?

Hey,

So I was wondering if having a server location for a domain in, 'Country A', would effect how well you show up in country B. The Domain name's ending is correct for 'Country B'. But the domain is hosted on a server located in Country 'A'.

Would it be a wise move to move to a server in country 'b', or does it not really make a difference in terms of SEO for long term gain?
