Should a US software brand that wants to target the U.K. market create a separate SEO presence for the U.K.?

The product is the same in both countries. Only the pricing page would need to have the appropriate currencies.

I’m struggling to decide if I should recommend a sub domain or folder to them or whether to keep all on a global site for the beginning?
