I run a music blog/news site and I'm just struggling to get backlinks. Normally, products are great to backlink to, but I don't know how to pitch a backlink for a newsworthy article. We post listicles/"songs written by X" a lot, does anyone have ideas on who to pitch these as backlinks to?
Just for transparency, I'm pretty new to the game. I just went through and did alt-text for every image on our site and made a list of relevant searches for our site niche. Next stop.... backlinks!
also edit: i would offer to hire/pay someone to do this, but i dont even pay myself or my team at this point.
