As per the title, I have a website that is all in one (a foreign) language right now. The intention was to sell multiple products on the domain but only a single product became successful. This product although a subpage receives about 90% of the traffic and has pretty strong organic performance for its keywords ranking consistently in the top 3.
Unfortunately the product sales have dropped significantly in the last few months despite traffic remaining high whilst I am focussing on more successful projects. I intent to repurpose the domain (it is my businesses brand name) to focus more on my new projects which are in English but keep the existing landing page for any residual traffic and value it can bring.
So my question is: considering that the landing page for the product ranks extremely well by itself, if I leave that in the foreign language but switch the remainder of the domain - what would be the likely effect?
