Hi all,
Been trying to wrack my brain around what is causing this. We've got a client where almost each page's bounce rate is over 90%. Home page is ok, sitting at 37%, and the contact page, 42%.
However, the rest sit between 85-95%.
If I look in GA, the BR per channel is the following:
- Paid Search - 80%
- Direct - 83%
- Organic Search - 34%
- Social - 84%
- Referral - 37%
Load speeds are ok (around 75 on Page Speed Insights, Desktop)
Content wise, the ads / social media are exactly what is in the page, and it is hitting its target audience (as shown by the high contact form submissions).
The page itself is quite new (less than 1 year). and they get great lots of contact form submissions. I'm just baffled by this high bounce rate.
