I've been out of the SEO game for the past year or so mainly focusing on my sales skillset. I'm debating on getting back into SEO and opening a small agency specifically for Shopify users.
I will, of course, need to brush up on my skills but I'm confident I can land a couple of customers in no time. I have a friend that mainly hires talent online and creates highly detailed tasks which they just execute on. So he mainly plays the bridge between the customer and the SEO specialists.
My question would be to agency owners, how did you start off?
My initial idea is to find an SEO specialist with prior experience specifically around Shopify and work with him after getting some clients. And take it slow from there. I'm seeing that SEO has still seemed to stay in high demand from business owners, so I'm sure there is a lot of opportunities.
Another Idea I had was maybe partnering with an agency or SEO specialists (freelancers) and getting them clients? So, this way I won't have to focus on the SEO that much and go all-in on sales.
