I own a service company that repairs a number of appliances for a bunch of different manufacturers.
For example, there are Whirlpool refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, etc.
There are also GE refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, etc.
And so on for about 30 different manufacturers who each have about 10 appliances.
Would I be better off with a single page that says:
We service
- Whirlpool refrigerators
- Whirlpool freezers
- Whirlpool washing machines
- ...
- GE refrigerators
- GE freezers
- GE washing machines
- ...
- other manufacturers and products . . .
Or having a single page for each manufacturer and product, ie. a page that says "We service Whirlpool Refrigerators, and some information about the appliance and servicing them"
This would result in the sudden appearance of about 300 new pages on the website. I'm a little concerned that Google might hit us with the Ban Hammer, even though the pages contain legitimate content.
Is there a significant advantage/disadvantage/danger in having one page per manufacturer/product, instead of a 1 page "menu" describing everything we service?
