So, I redid my new company’s website. I’m not sure when/how it went live, but many of the pages still had no indexing turned on. I didn’t submit the sitemap, but Google crawled and indexed about half of the pages that had indexing on.
After the site was actually ready to go live, I submitted the sitemap and search console says “couldn’t fetch”. I found that this could be an error and just wait it out, but it’s been over 4 weeks now and no new pages have been crawled or indexed. The robots.txt is all good. Sitemap works. But I’m not sure what else to do. Any tips? Thanks!
