Hi all,
My friend has a few dental clinics (opened a few months ago) and I help him with business decisions. We both understand there is a lot of value in SEO. But he is very concerned he is getting value from his marketing dollars.
Our city is broken into communities with 10K to 25K people in each. The clinics are located far enough apart that they are 2-3 communities away from each other. Each community might have 1-2 other clinics max.
The SEO person recommended to us says we should SEO for keywords for all the communities surrounding us "Dentist in <community>". But my perspective is that we would organically get to the first page of these sorts of searches by just editing the website to include those keywords (or making a quick landing page).
I was thinking the SEO firm needs to focus on the bigger value keywords (eg. "Dentist in <city>", "Implants in <city>"). Those would take actual SEO effort.
I don't want to pay monthly for SEO that would have happened anyway. What are your thoughts?
