First of all, I'd like to clarify this isn't the first time I'm posting here.
I have been successfully working as a content writer for the past three years and it's been great.
However, in the last couple of months, I'm getting more and more involved with non-technical SEO stuff for my company (link building, keyword research, analytics etc.) and I get to play with some really cool tools (ahrefs, semrush, seo powersuite).
It is great to have the chance to be able to see and measure the impact of my work. I can honestly say that the experience so far has been eye-opening.
The problem? I'm starting to get less and less interested in writing. Instead, I get more excited when I'm researching, strategizing, and coming up with a content plan. So, my questions are:
- How could I implement this to add more value to my writing work? (medium-term goals)
- What would be the best strategy to evolve into a proper SEO eventually? Is that even possible? (long-term goals)
Thank you in advance!
