Are there any negative effects of having duplicate store for multiple regions i.e .com .ca with the same content? (Shopify)

Hello!

I have a Shopify store, and I want to have multiple currency support, so I have to have two separate store, which means two separate domains. These stores will be duplicates of eachother. How will this negatively affect my SEO and what can I do to avoid any negative consequences?
