I have a bit of a background in dropshipping and a tiny bit in SEO. I will admit, I'm not expert and honestly, very limited in my knowledge. I come here for help and advice.
Recently, I bought a decent domain (TF 23 and CF 18 with around 1 million historic backlinks with a fresh 4k profile). I have a current fresh domain (week old) for my dropshipping website. I want to rank for keywords in my niche.
My plan is to 301 redirect the TF23 domain to my new domain. I'm doing this so I can crush it in the SERPs for competitive and non-competitive keywords in my niche. I'm just a little scared to do this because I don't want to get penalized and screw up. This is to get organic traffic to the website without having to depend on paid traffic.
Is this a smart plan or any I setting myself up to fail?
Is there any holes in this plan?
Also is there a better idea I should go with?
