I'm currently searching through Google for company mentions that aren't backlinked to my site (I think there is a tool that can do this automatically, be great if anyone knows of one)
I've found one link that I know without looking at any statistics is from a really strong domain (national media outlet). The article on that site seems to be used word-for-word on 2 or 3 other sites. These websites look legitimate enough, but I don't at this point know their authority.
What I want to know is, should I also chase down backlinks for those articles too? will it be beneficial, or will that be looked down on in some way due to duplicate content?
