Hello guys. We have a membership site that does not use any professional software. We reach out to businesses in a segmented email based on industry - then link them to a specific page on our site.
It's a basic wordpress setup. Then they reply if they want to become members over email. There's nothing they enter right away.
For us, our emails get a great open and click rate(50%+ and 25%+) that included tons of testing. But from step 1 to 2, and getting the opt in - we're not as good as we could be.
A big reason is the loading time of the site and aesthetics I feel. But beyond those which I'm working on, do you guys have any general advice?
