It seems to me that nofollow seems to be abused.
For example, if a site has moderator approved comments, and the comment has a link, which is approved, the nofollow should be stripped IMO.
It seems that for sites that Google could discover as reputable that it might be advantageous to pretend that the nofollow doesn't even exist and handle it normally.
Do we know if they do this in practice?
