Hi everybody,
I have a very light website (showcase site for a project) with a description of the project and some bios for the people involved in the project.
So the website is intended to be scarce (at this stage) but I know that without much content it would be difficult to get some results on SERP.
Nonetheless searching for the project name, does show some results (as always for proper nouns).
But searching for the people doesn't show this website as expected.
So I thought about making dedicated pages for each person, but since it will be just some couple of lines of content, they won't really fit in the current showcase style site.
Therefore I wonder if I can make these pages for the Search Engines to crawl them and hide the links (from the main page) to humans (I can do it with some CSS tricks eg. visibility: hidden; or display: none; or even by tweaking the z-index)
But I wonder if the search engines actually penalize this kind of practice?
Also I'm aware that even in this case, it will be the peoples dedicated pages that will be displayed on SERP (upon search for the people name), so I'm also wondering how I can make a redirection to the main site (possibly anchored to the person section) for people reaching those dedicated pages from SERP.
I don't know if I'm clear enough but I hope my explanations make sense.
Thank you for reading me btw..
