How do I make it so my products don't compete with each other?

Hi! I am quite new to really focussing SEO, I've picked up bits and pieces over the years that I've had my own business and I've been studying some Shopify resources recently. I want to really get stuck in to SEO on my site because we've tended to be more active on social media and on Marketplace sites than SEO. I have the basics of keyword research and I'm going to start sprucing up my site. I hope it's OK to ask a couple of questions please? I have a lot of products which are different designs of essentially the same product. They are literary art prints with quotes from different books. For some of them the SEO is obvious, they are popular quotations with their own search traffic. For others it's more of a general thing to do with gifts for book lovers. There's nearly 100 of these listings, and they are only part of our range. Do I do ALL of them? Do I give the best keywords to the best convertors and then leave the rest as they are? I worry about them competing with each other. If I put the more general keywords in the collection page then should they also be in the product listing?

I'm more used to working on SEO on Etsy, for their internal search, and that's historically been very 'key word stuffy', especially in the titles. I get the impression my titles should be more concise on my own site? Should I mix up what I actually call the product? On some listings they could be literary art prints, book page prints, quote prints...etc etc

Sorry that's quite a few questions! Any pointers on any part of this would be really appreciated.
