I'm working for a company that uses a 3rd party web developer to host/manage that background of the ecommerce website. Moz domain authority is around 31.
I understand ranking factors etc but don't exactly have full control over the website in terms of improving the page speed/the code of the pages and templates etc as this is all managed by the 3rd party.
I can access editing product pages, their page titles and meta descriptions, creating blog posts etc. The creation of new pages.
I'd love to improve the position in the SERPs for lots of the main product categories to get them above competitors. I believe it's achievable but apart from editing page title and meta descriptions of these pages (mainly product list pages) I'm struggling. Should I focus all my attention to keyword research and optimising these as best I can?
Anyone in a similar situation that can advise how they work on improving SEO with lots of limitations?
