As above. Say I have a local store or restaurant or service based business (accountant, photographer, etc.). How important is SEO?
I feel like adding a blog/articles to the site would not benefit readers in any way as most people come to the site to see what services are offered and hours/prices/etc.
That said getting featured and linked in local blogs would be beneficial but that's honestly less about SEO and more about publicity for the business.
Any advice how deep to go learning this sort of thing?
