Getting a link from an article that's copied across multiple other titles

Hi guys! Excuse the long winded nature of this query.

If I reach out with a link request to a journo that writes across multiple titles and she then updates the link, the link will automatically update on all the articles... so does that mean I've secured a bunch of links back to my desired page as opposed to just one?
