Acquired high-ranking domain, how to redirect safely?

Hi all,

I have acquired a website that sits high-up in Google rankings for my keywords, but the content is irrelevant now (business that's gone bust, effectively).

How do I go about utilising the high-ranking domain in a useful manner?

Should I redirect? Should I create a landing page with a link to my site?
