Client is opening another dental practice in a different state and wants a separate website for it. Is it ok to just duplicate the current one and?

Been working with this client for a year and built him a whole website, spent tons of money on copywriting, etc. Will it hurt either sites ranking if I duplicate the site, change logos, embedded map, etc.?
