I have a website that I used to run a few years ago. It was a blog where I would post guides to video games, but I slowly fell out of love with it and haven't updated it in a year or two. I'd like to start writing on it again, but I'm wondering whether that old content could be a hindrance for SEO going forward.
When I first started the website, I didn't know anything about SEO, so a lot of it was just added ad hoc with no real consideration for search engine performance. This time around I want to take SEO a lot more seriously, but does that mean the previous site structure needs to go? If so, how would I go about doing that? I'm just starting to learn about SEO properly so am a bit of a noob!
