Hello,
In the recent few months, I did a lot of URL changes (good standing SERP rankings) in order to improve SEO score (better URL, shorter, more specific). And the organic reach started climbing up, but suddenly in December, my site was hit by update. I have lost more than 80% of visits since November.
I started to look out what happened and to see how to resolve that and noticed that I have a lot of 404 errors on old backlinks and that lot of good standing posts lost their value and according to the SEM Rush completely lost their URL rankings and a lot of backlinks.
Then I did 301 redirects from the old URLs and still no sign of improvement. Does anyone know if the issue is related only to the Google update or it might have a connection with lost backlinks (404).? Is it possible that Google UPDATE updated backlinks resulting with the lost backlinks?
URL: Spec Ops Magazine
P.S. According to the Page Speed Insights the website have a good user experience and passes all tests in Core Web Vitals.
