Hi everyone I recently started as the Director of Marketing for a growing logistics company. They currently have a freelancer managing their SEO and web development. He believes he knows best in all things SEO. But as I start looking there are lots of things wrong. Some are obvious like no key words in Titles, H1 or meta descriptions. But there are a few that I would love to get some feedback on. The first is the site structure.
He has everything set up as one click away from the home page. The structure is completely flat. I want to create a hierarchy and give it some organization. We offer courier services and logistics And I want the relevant pages organized in their respective categories.
This Consultant says that there is no need to organize the content and pages. That Google doesn't see any difference to flat structures and we won't get any SEO improvements if we move to a pyramid structure. I disagree. I believe the user experience will be better and Google will more easily see the relevant pages.
I'd love to get your thoughts. www.excelcourier.com
Thanks!
