Hey guys, I'd appreciate a bit of help because I am a javascript developer and I have no idea about SEO.
My application is a react web app made in gatsby, and we have a couple of pages that have the canonical link which in my understanding would need to make it non-indexed but apparently we're still getting some organic traffic on them (not a lot, just a small fraction of what the indexed pages get).
I checked and the canonical tag is there correctly and our SEO guy checked it out on GA and the pages are correctly non-indexed, and the canonical tags aren't rejected by Google. Search Console does tell us this page is not indexed currently, but even then we had some organic traffic very recently
I googled a lot about this and we checked everything I found so maybe you can give me some advice, I would appreciate it.
