So I'm new at SEO and currently at the place where I worked I've been given the task to do SEO on the client website.
This client website is about selling cat food and the product is produced by them. They want their website to be number 1 in SERP.
Apparently, there's some other website selling their product also with the same content, but they didn't directly link it to the original website.
I'm a bit confused, what should I do about this. I mean is it normal for other websites to put the same content without a direct link to the original website?
Would be nice if you guys can give me some insight, thanks.
