To prune, or not to prune, that is the question.

Hey SEO horticulturalists.

I'm looking to get everyones opinions on pruning low value/thin content on a website such as Blog Posts, Articles etc.

Have you had success in doing this/negative ramifications?

And is this mindset the right one to have?

• Is the content valuable?
• If no, does the content receive any traffic
• If no, does the content have any backlinks
• if no 404 page. If yes to any of above 301 redirect to a more relevant page or expand on the content.

Potential risks I can foresee: messes with internal linking structure of a website, potential loss of backlinks.
