My website has content that used to rank very well but has dropped in the SERPs due to my competition getting better and upping their game. Admittedly, we've gotten very complacent over the years due to our success and have dropped the ball. For the pages that have now being out ranked should be update it and keep the same url? Or should we create brand new pages and redirect from the old pages to the new pages? I'm ashamed to admit but some of these pages are almost eight years old. We've gotten so used to being on top of the rankings largely because competition was lacking that we took out eye off the ball just being busy trying to run our business.
