I recently had a client, whom I won't mention by name for obvious reasons but they didn't understand that SEO was a long term game and didn't happen overnight. Now I can understand where they come from, as it can be hard to invest into something that you don't know much about and may take months to really see results from; however, this same client wouldn't listen to my suggestions or even meet me halfway with potential solutions I offered. Eventually I decided that it was best to cut ties with this individual, because although the money was good the mental stress it caused me just really wasn't worth it. Don't force yourself to compromise your service or cut corners. A true client in need of your services will have to trust you as you're the expert and you should be doing what's in the best interest of a client. Sorry for ranting, but hopefully someone who needs this sees this and stops stressing themselves out over clients who don't even look at them as actual people with lives
