Hey everyone. So I have an eCommerce site that has a few items that have had high demand on Amazon. I'm looking to move away from there for reasons that most of you are probably aware of.
So, I started my own site. It's not done much, but I'd really like to get it going. So, I've hired two SEO firms to help me out.
Both were flat fee firms. The first, not only did I not see any movement in Google Analytics, but they couldn't provide any proof of any work they did. I fired them after two months. The second provides regular updates and I have seen improvements in traffic and sales, but things have been flat for awhile.
So are there flat fee companies that are worth hiring? Or, am I better off going with a firm that would just take a percentage of sales? After all, if a company is taking a percentage of sales, the better I do, the better they would do...so they have more incentive to do well.
I'm curious as to the communities thoughts and possible suggestions of someone that could help!
