I set up goals in Google analytics for each unique url (outbound link) that we have listed on a resource page on our website.
Google goals shows that the goal completions for these unique urls are the same. For example, goals 5, 8, 12, and 16 will all show 204 goal completions, and in the graph below it, the same activity. This seems fishy and not accurate. I can’t imagine the same number of users are selecting the same outbound links at the same time across the same number of goals.
Has anyone seen this happen? And if yes, what is causing it? What can I do to fix it?
