Usually, I upload images directly to my server. However, I am forced to optimize the image by changing the size (and sometimes quality) in order to make the loading speed fast.
As a design blog, I tend to have at least 20 images (sometimes more) in a single post. And since I'm uploading on Pinterest to drive traffic, I thought why not try to just embed the image from Pinterest. That way, the images are of high quality.
I would like to know your thoughts about this strategy in relation to the 'modern' practices in SEO.
