Hey all,
I'm new to the Affiliate Marketing hustle and currently in a research and strategy phase for my first project. I think I've found an area that I'd like to work in but am unsure if I am going about this correctly.
I've used AHREFs and I've identified several keywords with low difficulty, high traffic and a healthy CPC related to my general topic/category. But beyond that, I don't seem to be drilling down specifically in terms of an actual 'niche'.
Example:
I want to create a site about music, and the Keywords I have identified for writing articles about, are:
- Best albums by AC/DC
- Best albums by Miles David
- Best albums by David Hasselhoff
As mentioned, AHREFs indicates that it should be relatively easy to get my articles ranked for all of the above. But I realise that rather than identifying a specific niche (i.e. "music for women in their 40's") I am simply writing articles in response to the low competition/high demand keywords returned by AHREFs.
Ultimately my site is about 'Music Reviews', but in terms of targeting, nothing more specific than that at the moment. As it stands the site would be a collection of articles which should generate traffic, but albeit without an actual specific niche that encompasses all into a related theme. Is this a viable strategy?
Any thoughts and constructive opinions welcome.
Thanks all
