Need your suggestions for content site and main site(for job board) seo

Hey,

I've a job-board site (a web application) ex: www.architecturejobs.com and going to create content site (ex: interview questions) associated with the job-board on seperate domain ex: architectureinterviewquestions.com. I'm planning to exchange links between these two just to make users aware of them.

The reasons for having the content site in separate domain is because of the fact that it is a static site that I can host it with CDN and the technology that I use for job board is different from that of content site.

Is this anything wrong with this setup?
