I have my SaaS product at https://productname.com My helpdesk software offers a hosted knowledge base solution. So I can write extensive knowledge base articles (basically 'blog posts with in depth details about our application' -- good content) in their tool and they will generate a nice searchable knowledge base. This knowledge base is hosted on myproduct.helpdesksoftware.com but using a CNAME record, I can 'white label' this to help.productname.com .
Long story short; will the content I write for help.productname.com help for the SEO score of my main domain?
Edit: I'm by no means an SEO expert so when I mention "SEO score/performance" I basically mean the performance of the domain in the search engine
