Having trouble identifying good keywords and good article ideas in other languages than English

Hi all,

My service (in France) sells gift vouchers for dining at great restaurants in Paris.

The general "themes" with which we associate are :

• Restaurant culture
• Paris lifestyle / things to do and places to visit
• Food start-ups
• Gift ideas

So far, I've only written content specific to my service : pages that explain what we do and why we do it.

I'd like to go more into general blogging to produce quality content that people find value in and come back to.

But I'm kind of lost in:

• How to find ideal keywords to try and rank for (the "food" and "gift" spaces are quite cluttered)
• How to find a couple great article ideas that would really help my audience and draw some trafic

Part of the difficulty is that most of the keyword tools out there seem to focus exclusively on English when it comes to suggesting article ideas and keywords.

How do you think I should tackle these issues ?
