I’m currently auditing my site and found numerous old webpages that I have a newer counterpart for. The old pages still have internal backlinks pointing to them. Instead of just redirecting the old url to the new one, I’ve been going through the webpages that are linking to the old page and linking them to the new one instead. Am I wasting my time? Would just using a single 301 be more beneficial?
