Digital & physical product listings - how to optimise for SEO?

I've a digital book and a physical version of the same book. There are minor differences in both products. But both are the same subject and content.

I currently have the digital book page up and am writing the paperback version page.

What's the best way to make this SEO optimised?

• I've got different urls.
• I've got different title texts (same book title but paperback edition written in).
• I'm trying to write slightly different content - but it's very difficult as both books have the same content and selling points.
• Different images aside from the cover
• Different meta
• I'm linking to both products clearly

Should both pages have their own canonical or should they both direct to the prefered page?

What else should I do?
