Hi, we're rebuilding our Wordpress theme — doing so so that it's tailored to our needs. Any specific practices we need to keep in mind?
For instance, right now I was debating whether having the categories of a blog posts listed on the home page (we'd not add them so that it's more lightweight) is relevant for SEO. The theme we have now doesn't list them and we're getting tens of thousands of views monthly from google searches, so obviously ranking high in some keywords.
Does it matter? Would it matter if we don't even show our blog posts on the home page? (We can do that)
